Acceptance
01
Acceptance is a key aspect of tinnitus management and is very much a positive approach. It is not about giving up the possibility of recovery or settling for a diminished quality of life, but about accepting the fact of having tinnitus and allowing the habituation process to proceed.
02
The ability to accept is integral, as it gradually persuades the brain that the tinnitus sound is of no consequence. Allowing anxiety and fear to prevail sends the wrong message to the brain and it will keep ramping up the perception of the sound.

It is not a quick fix and various factors affect the rate of success, but I can guide you through the process with various helpful approaches.
